Heavy-duty Carry-On Trailer Spring Shackle Bolts and Nuts are used to connect the spring inside the spring hangers. The spring shackle bolts are made to do this job with special nuts that prevent them from backing off the bolt. Each pack includes four shackle bolts and nuts each. The spring shackle bolts measure 3 in. x 9/16 in.

  • Shackle Bolts attach the leaf spring to a hanger bracket or equalizer
  • 9/16" shoulder with 7/16" thread
  • Fluted end prevents bolt from turning

Pour Quality.

Grade 5 bolt with a Grade 1 nut. The bolt is a press in fit which requires a lot of strength to tighten the nut by hand. In my case the nut stripped before the bolt pulled in to place. I could not get the nut to back off, it just spun and I had to cut it off.  Should not have to buy grade 5 nuts separately.

Don't waste your money. I never do reviews on stuff but I am on these bolts. Not like pictured. The threads are smaller than the bolt. The threads strip out when tightening up. No torque specks. Just reused old bolts. Way better than these. Being returned
