CAPSTAR (nitenpyram) is a fast-acting cat flea treatment tablet for use with cats that starts killing fleas in only 30 minutes. A single dose of CAPSTAR oral flea treatment kills 90% of adult fleas within 6 hours for cats. Give this oral flea treatment and watch the dead fleas fall off your pet. CAPSTAR flea tablets are available for cats and kittens 2-25 pounds, and 4 weeks of age or older. Available in a 6 ct. package.

- If your pet gets reinfested with fleas, simply give another dose as often as once a day

Please note, CAPSTAR is designed to quickly kill only adult fleas during a flea infestation. It typically begins working within 30 minutes of administration and only lasts about 24 hours. This product can be re-dosed daily as needed, however if it is being used in a home setting, additional forms of flea control for both the pet and environment are recommended as this product will not kill eggs or fleas that are too young to bite. I truly believe in capstar I have used it on my cats and dog and it’s true. It works within 30 to 45 minutes the fleas die immediately. The only downfall is you have to give them one tablet every time you see fleas I usually do it around once a month. The only thing that really sucks. Is you only get six tablets in a box so I have three pets so my six tablets last two rounds sometimes I have to give them earlier but usually about every two weeks you have to kill the incoming fleas (eggs hatching)
