This pill killed my dog

I'm afraid I did not like the flea pill. My dog was geriatric at 17 and a half years old.. a 90 lb German shepherd border collie mix. He was my heart. He had been outside sleeping a lot and got mange mites and some other insect infestation that concerned me and I found this pill claiming to kill any insect which I'm sure it would. But it clearly crossed the blood-brain barrier and gave my dog a severe seizure which killed him in minutes and I found him toppled on top of his head looking like his neck was broken and his legs out to the side where he was obviously uncoordinated. Reading about nicotinoid poisoning this is exactly what happened and I found other examples, one lady with two dogs and two cats who gave this pill and one of her dogs and one of her cats had a similar seizure and died. I see there are some warnings in the literature but they should be much more prominent. This pill killed my dog. He was at the age for many people euthanize but that was not my choice, I was taking care of him even though he wet himself most nights putting on clean towels and washing him. Personally I don't believe in euthanizing. And this pill put a very quick end to my dog's life. Very much not my intention!

No, I do not recommend this product.
