Cambridge Terminal Weatherproof Blue Wire Splice, 18-14 AWG is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from needs instructions splices worked and were easy to use. some simple instructions would have been nice. If you bend the hinge back, you can insert a full wire that goes all the way thru. I was cutting the wire and sticking it in both sides, which I thought was odd. I bought some other splices and the full thru side is on the clasp side, making it pretty obvious a full wire can be put in without cutting.

can you use this on the 3 wire/ 3 insulated yellow & black strands type or do you have to remove the insulated part & just use the bare wires alone to connect or how does that work?

Asked by: shtad76
Yes, the wire will need to be spliced- remove the insulated portion.
