Removing brush and small trees is a huge hassle and anyone who has tried to remove brush or small trees knows how frustrating it can be. That's where the Brush Grubber Shrub/Clump Grubber BG-16 comes in. Here at Brush Grubber, we could never find any specific products devoted to removing small and large brush, and the old methods of wrapping a chain around small brush, using a shovel to remove roots, or trying to remove something larger were never easy. So, we put our heads together and the original Brush Grubber idea was born in the form of a tool that allows you to pull shallow-rooted brush and small trees easily and quickly. Now, we have a way to grip and pull out clumps of larger trees and shrubs. The Shrub and Clump Grubber by Brush Grubber is the perfect tool for removing your unwanted brush and shrubs.12 months limited parts warranty

Poor quality

Very poor quality. Broke first time I tried it. Tried to pull it 1” tree and it broke the small ring. They would not warranty it. Do not buy. Waste of money.

Not perfect but does the job.

The first plant I used it on led me to call it the 'money grubber' because it felt better at taking the money out of my wallet than pulling plants from the ground. The problem is that the gripper tines don't always face the plant, and the smooth surface doesn't grip, obviously. I found two things that helped. First, I wrapped it around the plant as many times as I could instead of just one wrap. Second, and this is hard to explain, I moved the chains around the ring by flipping the ring over. This twisted the chains so that the tines faced in different directions. After that I had better success, and pulled some pretty good sized plants. I still had minor issues with the chain sliding a bit, or some of the shoots of the plant not coming out, but overall it worked good enough. I haven't tried it on a tree or a plant with a single shoot/trunk yet, only bushes. The color is easy to see and the powder coat seems to be very durable.
