Purchased for 2023 planting season in Cache Valley Utah. They were somewhat neglected and thrived compared to other brands.

I bought this product about six weeks ago but don’t see any heads forming. I bought it last year and the same thing happened. The leaves are hesitation but tough. I’m wondering if any heads will ever form? I will leave it in the ground indefinitely; the leaves are not tasty enough to eat alone.

Here is what a friend said to whom I gave one of these: "I have been hoping to find you .. but I just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU for sharing your cabbage surplus. It is one of the best cabbages I have ever had and our family was raving about it." I planted 18 of these. I used no fertilizer and they grew huge. The recommended spacing is 24" but they were crowded a bit as they reached full size. In addition to the above comment, another friend told me the cabbage was sweeter than the ones he gets at the store and a bit looser (but not in a bad way).
