Meh.

The black Prince Is ok if you like bland tasting tomatoes. I live in a hot climate so there not setting much fruit. The plant is growing ok. They have a slight sweet taste with low acidity. The tomatoes are good sized. I probably won't plant them again. They would be better for up north gardens.

No, I do not recommend this product.

A tasty superfood

Bought a Bonnie “Black Prince” plant this Spring. It did very well in a 5gal. Kratky bucket. I planted the Kratky bucket using the Bonnie container with plant and soil adding some slits and holes to the plastic container. Used the Kratky formula nutrients in the water bucket. This was in a greenhouse. NONE of the fruit split. perfect fruit. Will expand to three plants next year.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Wow!!

I ended up with these after my seed tomatoes were taken out by a very late snow. I cannot tolerate the acid of most tomatoes and cannot tolerate the taste of most low acid tomatoes. This was hands down the best tomato I have grown, equal only with my family’s heirloom. I will be growing these again. They do crack easy, but they are delicious and I will be more careful with them in future.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Flavor Meh

Good yield. The fruit tends to split. The flavor for an heirloom variety is boring. For a dark heirloom I prefer purple cherokee or black krim.

No, I do not recommend this product.
