The tag says to not feed to poultry because this feed is not formulated for poultry (chickens) to be the sole feed for them and meet all their nutrient requirements. This will not hurt your chickens. The last 2 bags I had shipped because they don’t carry it in the store, came to me after about 1 week or more after ordering. The first bag was fine, the second bag was full of mold.

Great deer and turkey feed. I mix a small amount of corn to the mixture. Only bad thing is raccoons and bears like it also.
