Love grill but picture is false advertisement

Love the grill but very disappointed that in the picture it showed the cover with it and that's the reason why I also bought it so I didn't have to order 1 but it didn't come with one so I had to spent more money to buy 1 shouldn't show it with the picture because people would think it comes with it

I want to love it

I have had this griddle for just a few weeks and have been loving it. The wings on the sides could be large for a larger working area but that's OK. I've probably used it less than a dozen times and just tonight I was cooking fried rice on it and it warped. Now the griddle doesn't sit flat. It rocks back and forth really bad. I can't believe how warped it is now. One moment it was fine and in an instant it completely lost its shape. I will be contacting the manufacturer to ask for a griddle top replacement in hopes I got one that was defective.

The cooking on this is pretty even. Lots of room on this basic model to have most of what you need. The lid doesn’t attach; if it did, that would make this 100 times better!

Hello, Thank you for leaving a review. Not all of our units are compatible with a hinged hood. We do sell a hood accessory for our 36" omnivore-style units. If you are looking for a hood to trap in a little extra heat to melt cheese, baste, or steam vegetables, we recommend using one of our basting covers.
If you are unsure of what style griddle plate you have, see our article "What is an Omnivore Griddle Plate?"
To support a hood, a griddle needs a heavier base and a griddle top that locks into the station than our original style griddles. Putting a hood on a griddle not designed to carry it could make the griddle too top-heavy. We are unable to sell any aftermarket hoods for 28" and 36" models that don't have the design modifications to fit.
