Maximum initial battery voltage (measured without a workload) is 20 volts. Nominal voltage is 18 volts.

DO NOT BUY

DO NOT BUY!!! My son gave this to me as a gift. Run time is 15 minutes max after charging battery fully. Charged an additional 1.5 hours and had to get back to the project. Battery last 5 minutes this time. I am heartbroken as my son spent his hard earned money on this piece of junk thinking he was getting me a needed gift. FRUSTRATING!!!!

Frustrating trash

I get maybe 20mins of run time with this sander. I thought it was faulty and reached out to support, who is awesome, and they sent a replacement. Got the new sander and was so excited to be able to finish my current project as well and quickly sand down two 2"x6"x5' foot boards for a quick shelf hang. To my dismay the sander didn't even last long enough to get thru the two boards. Now I get it can't run for 9 hours straight but I expect at least 45min of run time. I now have four batteries. Two were fully charged last week and set to the side. I don't keep my batteries on the charger as it's a fire hazzard. I popped a battery off and new one on and got maybe 2 minutes then it's dead. Ok, maybe the unit is warm, give it a break and come back after hour and half, still having the same problem. I get 20min of work time then struggle to get maybe another 10min before I'm done. I leave and come back after few hours for another few minutes of work time. Go with corded and save yourself the frustration.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Dust collection bag is my only issue very hard to remove and empty but for short uses gets the job done very well
