This stuff works great, just as advertised. But I don't know why they say to pour a whole gallon of water on the mound...Seems like overkill (no pun intended 🙂). I just use maybe a cup or two and sprinkle it over the mound until the surface is wet. Doing it that way hasn't failed me yet. When I check the mounds after about 5-6 days, the ants are all gone. It probably works quicker than that, but I've never checked any sooner. Not sure why another reviewer called this stuff Amdro... That might work well too, but this stuff is not made by Amdro. Bioadvanced is the brand name.

Just simply pour on Fire ant mounds and you can see a huge difference by the next day. I would recommend this product to my friends, family, and neighbors. It works great!

It works the best when you sprinkle it on right before a good rain and boom they’re gone! I meant it, like bam they just disappear. I am absolutely buying again! And a little goes a long way! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's terrible to be bit by fire ants so it's critical to eliminate the colony as soon as possible. This fire ant killer makes it easy to get rid of them at first sight. Just shake and go. Only 2 shakes on the mound and it took care of the problem quickly. Conveniently, it also works on red harvester ants and pavement ants. This is a fine powder so be cautious when using. Read the directions carefully and avoid inhaling or using near fish ponds or other water features. With up to 130 uses in this one container, this is the last fire ant killer I will need for some time. It's a real bargain for a supply that should last for years.
