First transfer tanks developed a leak after 6 months of fairly light use. Tractor Supply (Mason City, IA) was super about taking back the flawed tank and replacing it with identical model. Despite being the identical model (model number and UPC code identical), the replacement tank's mounting brackets were in slightly different spots, so the previous holes drilled for the first tank didn't line up. I mean not even close. For a $1000 bucks you'd think there'd be tighter tolerances, especially for mounting points. So far the replacement tank is holding the diesel just fine, but we'll see. Many other reviewers with similar complaints (leaks, dissimilar mounting points of replacement tank). Tractor Supply: awesome. "Better Built" needs to improve their quality. For a $1000 and reportedly American made, I expect a far better product than what I've seen so far.

Cracked after 1 year of use. We've bought 2 better built tanks now with the same cracking issue. Will not buy again.

Having a website I can order parts through has proven to be very helpful

Bought for my work truck and bolted right on no issues, filled the tank and just a few day’s driving around the welds broke on the bolt hole feet. Returned for another one, poor quality control as the hole on the new tanks feet didn’t match the bolt pattern of what I previously drilled through my bed. I wasn’t about to drill more holes in my truck, tried to rectify the poor Quality Control issues directly with the manufacturer and hit a brick wall. Ended up returning it to TSC and am still on the search for another company’s tank.
