This whole cottonseed is "Fortified" with vitamins, macro/micro minerals, and unique flavoring. These levels help support the development of the fawn, the milk production during lactation, and antler growth for wildlife. Fortified Cottonseed is a free choice feed, and it is recommended to top dress with corn until wildlife are acclimated. FEEDING DIRECTIONS Fortified Cottonseed should be fed free choice with access to pasture forage. Consumption rates will depend on forage availability as well as season and production demands, but typically range from 1/2 to 2 lb. per head per day. BENEFITS OF FORTIFIED COTTONSEED Our cottonseed products are fortified with vitamins and minerals which help to support development of the fawn, milk production during lactation and antler growth. Fortified Cottonseed was developed to maximize production and growth for wildlife with access to adequate forage.

    Good source of fat for the deer

    I started feeding the cotton seed just after the WT fawns dropped and the Momma Does have been loving it. In addition to my regular corn feeder. I mix the cotton with a few scoops of sweet feed and the deer are on it as soon as I walk away.

      The product is just OK. I don't really like paying for lint and the deer tend to pick around it even mixed with cracked corn and the additives that should make the seed more palatable. Defeats the purpose of supplementing with cottonseed. Would like to see TS offer cottonseed cake or pellets at my location.

      Cottonseed is a great choice for nutrition AND hogs & coons don’t eat it as they do protein or corn. Versatile in how you feed. Use the Tractor Supply feeder that is mesh wire sided to hold feed in but mesh is wide enough for deer to easily access feed. Feeder has a metal to help keep rain out.
