Have used for 3 seasons now. Initially, was mostly happy with the mower; however, since day 1 i have had an issue with the choke. maybe it needs more adjustment, but overall it's just wonky. I also installed the ACS chute which allows me to easily open/close the chute to keep from throwing stuff at my house, cars, etc. This was a WASTE. While it works there are significant issues: 1) it cannot seem to be partially open thus redirecting the debris out of the deck but downward. it must be open or closed and no inbetween. 2) it does not seal well against the deck. I've tried everything under the sun and when the guard is down, i end up with all sort of dust and grass shavings all over me. 3) the handle is somewhat easily bent and can get in the way esp when closed. I would not purchase again. Rather quickly the original chute cover (rubber composite) ended up tearing off the bracket which prompted the ACS. OK, enough on that... not long after the first year, the bottom of the seat rotted. This mower sat outside but under a pole barn and was mostly protected from the elements. Doesn't matter... the bottom of the seat is wooden and didn't take much to rot out. Luckily, it's a standard pattern and I was able to put an old Hustler seat i had on it. Next, let's talk maneuverability. I'm not sure why, but turning can be tough. The rear wheels don't really grip well. I get way too much slide and way too little grip. I think this could be due to the weight distribution on the frame or maybe the wheels are just oversized... but i end up tearing up portions of my yard due to this. Next is the hours meter. It just randomly quit working after a few months. I'm really not that interested in the hours on the machine, but that it just randomly stopped working is frustrating. For the average height person, the steering handles will be fine, but for someone 6'+, they're a bit short. it would have been nice to have an adjustable handle to allow for a taller person. A few positive highlights: it does have a good sturdy, heavy-duty deck. The spindles are rock solid, but the bearings still will wear out. The cut is pretty good so long as the blades are sharp. The unit has plenty of power and a nice cutting speed. The suspension is good and helps the overall ride and the tires are good and heavy-duty. i really, REALLY like the flip-up bottom which provides easy access to the deck belt. Overall, i would probably not purchase again as it just seems that there are better options at this price point. The steering issues really sours the experience rather quickly and the seat having a wooden base is laughable.

This is a phenomenal mower at a great price. I’ve owed one before for 10 years and decided it was time to get a new one. Went back with the exact same mower. This is a great machine

Cuts very nicely, comfortable to drive, plenty of power. Does not handle as well as others I have had.
