I spent an hour in the big-name boot store everyone knows, digging through a sea of mediocrity before finding these. They offer a great balance of value and comfort right out of the box. Bought them for a wedding in two weeks, I wanted a darker brown so I applied a little mink oil. It worked perfectly, giving them the rich shade I wanted. First day out, I walked five miles in them with minimal issues. All is well—I'm a happy customer!
