Excellent for eliminating Apple Snails in ponds!

If you are one of the many unfortunate individuals that have recently became the recipient of an Invasive Apple Snail infestation in your privately owned fishpond, then you probably already know how much damage that these nasty little pest can cause to the natural vegetation and water quality that you likely once had. If you don’t know, trust me… you will soon enough. Do yourself a favor before it’s too late, buy yourself some copper sulfate and apply it to your pond water around the banks where the snails are most populated. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed! You’ll see results almost immediately! Within 12 hrs of application, I saw thousands of dead apple snails floating around my pond. It’s been a little over a month since application and I’ve yet to see a live Apple Snail or any pink egg clusters anywhere along the banks. A little bit of this stuff goes a long ways and 15 pounds should be more than enough to cover a 15 acre pond of average depth. In my case, there was very minimal fish mortality rates observed. I didn’t observe any dead crawfish, however I can’t be sure this didn’t occur. Keep in mind that studies made by LSU have showed that copper sulfate will kill a portion of the crawfish population also, so don’t make the mistake of using this stuff in a crawfish pond. Do your own research on the effects of copper sulfate in freshwater pond applications before committing. LSU has plenty of info derived from studies made on mitigating the impact of Invasive Apple Snails. I hope this information helps someone like it has helped me.

Works Great

I always have this on the shelf in my shed. Works great on algae in my pond. Either mixing with warm water(to dilute) for spot treatment on floating algae or using the crystals to broadcast on problematic banks where algae tends to ALWAYS grow. It works great! And is way more cost effective then buying liquid with same to better results.
