Will this flagpole hold up to Florida hurricane winds? I plan on putting, whatever I buy, 3 feet in the ground.

The flagpole can withstand 70 mph winds without a flag. In high winds, you should take down flag and bring the top 2 sections down using the telescopic feature to protect it.
