These jars are very thick and heavy. They’re excellent canning jars.
I never have any issues with the lids creating a solid seal.

Honest review of the Anchor Canning Jars

We have been canning for years these are great Jars. Yes the rings go dingy and off colored, but the rings are not supposed to be kept on the jar after it seals. The lids yes there gold they don't always seal but neither do the ball lids. If your an avid canner, you will invest in nice stainless steel lids. I have had less anchor jars break during canning than the amount of ball jars that have cracked and broke during a pressure canning session. These are great Jars for the money the amount I save allows me to buy more jars than if I just bought ball branded jars.

Do not seal well

Never had any problem with cans not sealing until I used this brand. About 1-2 out of every batch does not seal...

Jars good, lids bad

I like the jars, good quality & less expensive than others. HOWEVER, the lids suck for canning. I trade out for Ball lids & use AH for other things, like crafting.
