Purchased this as a replacement after my previous spreader broke. Fairly easy to put together, but written instructions ( instead of only illustrations) would have made it easier.! Hooked to my JD X300 lawn tractor and spread 50,000 SF of fertilizer with no problem. Did not have any issues with tipping over like my old spreader when I did the sloped areas. Nice even distribution and application. Only issue is that due to hitch height spreaderwas towed leaning forward which caused material to be left in hopper, ( about 10 lbs) I switched the black towing bracket on the spreader to the bottom and hooked it back up so both were on top of the hole in my tractors hitch which raised it enough for all the material to flow from spreader. I am going to have a new bracket fabricated at the correct height for my tractor at a local welding shop as a permanent fix.

Poor Product Manufacture

I have had a very bad experience with this spreader. First the one I originally received did not have all the parts. When I returned and re-ordered the second one, I was charged $40.00 more for the second one. After assembling the second one it would not spread properly when more than one bag of fertilize was put in it at one time. Then as I attempted to return to my local TSC store they would not accept since it was ordered on line and I did not have better proof of purchase. When re-orderingI I used the store credit from the previous return and credit card so amount on credit card statement made no since to them. Unfortunately, I had deleted the original purchase transaction on my computer as I usually do not have issues with TSC products. The original return went just fine as I still had the box it came in. I am really frustrated with this purchase and would accept any help that I could get with assisting me with a return on this spreader. regards

The sticker for the settings that was put on the tub was put on poorly and probably won’t last. The assembly was hard but well worth it at the end.

Terrible Assembly Instruction including Video

The product itself is great however your assembly instructions are terrible. I assembled the unit per your instructions and didn't get 1 pass before it sheared the cotter pin on the drive wheel. Referring to your quick guide step 3, it does not say which way the axle gear must face with regards to the front of the unit and it does make a difference!! One picture the curve seems to be left and the other it seems to the right, it would be very simple to add and instruction stating make sure the curve in the sprocket is facing left or right. The other issue is the installation of the wheels, it would not hurt to explain which side the appropriate wheels go on. Before you finalize instructions might I suggest you give a unit to an office worker with the instructions and see how they make out. I had to disassemble the unit and correct the locations of the parts mentioned. Now it works great. MOST FRUSTRATING. Registration is a completely different issue maybe OK if you live in the States but not from Canada.

Poor design

I bought this spreader with hopes of doing a two acre yard with lime and fertilizer. That didn’t happen! It sheared six cotter pins in the axle because the gear and drive wheel didn’t mesh up properly.

COMPLETE JUNK , HAD THE WRONG PARTS ON IT .

This spreader is complete junk , first time using it i had grass seed in it and went 1 round around yard and it quit working. The Pin fell out so all i had was a cotter key and it lasted 2 rounds so i looked up parts for it and it had the wrong axel in it. WHAT KIND OF JUNK DO YOU SELL, WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY.I AM GOING TO TELL ALL MY LANDSCAPING BUDDIES.
