4in1 soil monitor

I found the AgraTronix 4- in-1 Soil monitor to be easy to use. Has an easy to access ph meter that I find useful. Temperature seems to be right on. C and F The light meter works, not sure what set for, but under 3000 watts MH at 24” above still only got normal for light My favorite is the soil monitor just insert tip down in soil tells wet. Normal or dry. My main issue with plants is overwatering, so this really helps take out much of the guess work. I would recommend it for the at home Gardner who wants a little more control of grow environment This is not for professional set up, no apparent way to calibrate any of the settings. So far I have had no issues.

PH Tester Failure

The moisture, sunlight, and temperature sensors of this product work flawlessly, however the PH monitor, the main reason why I purchased this product, fails to read accurate levels. First, I tested multiple areas of soil. Former farmland that had been consistently fertilized, untouched soil, and soil directly adjacent to a limestone gravel driveway all read the same level of 5.5. Out of curiosity, I tried well known household items such as soda that has a PH of ~2 - 4, and bleach, which has a PH of ~11 - 13. This product failed to accurately read both, with a 5.5 rating for the soda and a "LO" rating indicating extreme acidity for the bleach. If you're looking for an accurate PH tester, I can not recommend this product.

So So

After reading the instructions, it was still difficult to get it to work. Very slow to respond. So I am not sure if the reading that I got after the slowness or even correct.

Giant Disappointment

I’m embarrassed I spent money on this. First off there was no instruction manual in the box as indicated. Next I took the cap off and put the probe into liquid vinegar, and it says it’s 7.0 and Dry + It’s just a piece of garbage, no doubt put together by cheap labour, constructed for a penny and turned for a profit. Don’t waste your money. You can get something cheaper and more affective at any garden supply store I’m sure. Very frustrated.

No, I do not recommend this product.
