Q: Can the hydraulics only lift 250lb? Does this mean that it cant lift a 5ft x 4.5ft bale which is around 700lbs?

- A: There was an error in the ad and we were having trouble changing it. The machine is rated for 2500 pounds. It was missing a zero. It can lift a 2500 pound bale. Thanks2 years agoHelpful?

Unit worked as should. My only complaint is I had to grind one of the spears down where it goes through the housing so that it would fit.

Ok but needs improvement

Doesn’t want to stay attached had to drill a hole thru the tubes and put a bolt in it to keep it from sliding apart. The set nut welds broke off and the set bolt doesn’t hold. The lock for the ball needs to be better bc it keeps coming loose no matter how tight u draw it.

As a whole the spear works good, when I first installed the spear, one of the hydraulic hoses was split apart right at the cylinder, so therefore my truck bed got a hydraulic oil bath. Local store is no help to online purchases like this but any parts store that can make a hydraulic hose can have you back up and going in a few minutes. If that’s the only problem then I’ll be a happy customer. I can easily feed two round bales at a time.
