Was hoping I could find one of these used and not have to pay retail, but the TS price was actually pretty good and my grass was suddenly gone and I needed to get a bale out. My old tractor wasn't big enough to lift bales and I've never had a bucket. The guy I got the new tractor from had said it was real easy to change out the bucket for a hay spike--and it actually was! Not only that but I didn't even have to drive my truck to town to get this one--that made it SO much easier (and cheaper!) than driving for likely an hour to get a used one in my truck. I have a Honda Pilot, and had the third row seating down. You'd have to measure, but a lot of the cross-overs are going to haul this because the spikes come right off (it's packaged with straps holding them across it). You can get the measurements and weight under the specs tab. Two reasonably strong folks can pick it up with effort--less effort if you cut the straps and pull the spikes out; they are heavy. The TS guy loaded it with my help, but my daughter and I took it apart to unload it. Less than 10 minutes I'd guess to put it on my tractor. Seems well made. Does what it's supposed to do! My cows were happy.
