I *wanted* to live this fly spray … but I don’t. One horse had a severe chemical burn reaction to it (under his chin so I’m assuming he rubbed his face on his legs as horses do). This same horse sneezes repeatedly when I spray this product anywhere near him, so it’s obvious he has a sensitivity to it. The very strong chemical smell just makes me feel wary about using it on my herd. While the other 6 horses have not had a reaction to it, I just don’t feel comfortable using it on them. I may use it on my barn surfaces, but I won’t be using it on the horses anymore. It might work to repel flies, but I can’t comment on that because I was so put off by the smell and negative reaction we had with the one horse. Even if one horse had not had a negative reaction, I wouldn’t purchase again as I try to use more natural products. The flies were just so bad this year and people were raving about this product I decided to try it.

This is THE VERY BEST in fly spray for horses, hands down! It is expensive but worth it! It's very strong and helps w ticks and other insects too! Only downside is strong smelling and very oily on the horse and hands. I dilute it and it still works ALL DAY!!

Truly dismisses horseflies

I thought this spray was going to be "the answer," but it has been nothing but a disappointment from the first use. At first spray, I started with an asthma attack, and my horse started hacking too. the perfume smells toxic to me. I've kept trying it over the past couple of weeks, but I still see flies all over my mare, and now her coat is all greasy. Waste of good money. I have to toss this out and buy the original UltraShield I've used for years with no issue.
