Pyrethrins (found in Swat Fly Repellent) are a class of organic compounds normally derived from Chrysanthemum cinerariifolium that have potent insecticidal activity by targeting the nervous systems of insects.

Special Precautions

• This product contains petroleum distillate.
• Never apply around mouth or eyes.
• During use, wear socks, shoes, long pants, and a long-sleeved shirt. After handling, thoroughly wash hands using soap and water prior to using the bathroom, using tobacco, chewing gum, drinking, or eating.
• Keep out of reach of animals and children.
• Take care not to contaminate any sources of water when disposing of rinsate or equipment wash water.
• Use sparingly near ears.
• Any pesticide can cause sensitivity in animals. If you observe such a symptom, wash the application area using mild soap, then rinse with plenty of water. If symptoms persist, seek emergency veterinary attention.
• Not for use in humans.
• Wash hands thoroughly using soap and water right after use.
• Never apply in intertidal areas below the mean high mark, areas in which surface water exists, or directly into water.
• Take care not to contaminate any sources of water when disposing of rinsate or equipment wash water.
• This product can cause aspiration pneumonia.
• Not for use in foals or horses intended for food slaughter.
• Toxic to invertebrates, fish, and other aquatic organisms.

Overdose Information

Immediately contact your closest emergency animal hospital or vet.

Side Effects

If you believe the animal is having a reaction to this product, withdraw use and rinse the skin right away using plenty of water for a 15 to 20 minute period. Keep the product label or container nearby, then call a poison control center, seek medical attention, or call 1-800-234-2269.

Storage

Store in a dry and cool environment. Avoid placing near food, pesticides.
