Q: Does the chaps' soft buttery color remain the same after using?

1 Answer
  • A: Pure Neatsfoot may darken light colored leathers. In addition, we generally do not recommend using Neatsfoot oil on leather. If too much is applied, the oil will remain on the surface and would rub off on clothing.

Q: Can I use it on a old leather seat ( sectional sofa) old Italian leather .... not worried about coloring it darker

1 Answer
  • A: Pure Neatsfoot may darken light colored leathers. In addition, we generally do not recommend using Neatsfoot oil on leather upholstery. If too much is applied, the oil will remain on the surface and would rub off on clothing. We have another product that is good for use on upholstery leather but it is not carried at TSC.
