I only needed 6-8 feet of 1-1/2” suction tubing but buying it in bulk (at TSC or any place else), even in smaller quantities, was two to three times as expensive as buying this product and cutting out what I needed - and I still have plenty for another project or as replacement. Cutting the tubing was relatively easy and it serves very well the purpose I intended.

Abbott's abrasion-resistant, PVC, suction pump hose is made to conveniently connect to the homeowner's irrigation system. It comes with male and female threaded brass ends which are resistant to corrosion.

Hose comes with 2 fittings!

Although the photo indicates only one end has a fitting my hose came with both male and female fittings. Note: the fittings are National Pipe Straight Hose Thread (NPSH, NPS) which are not directly compatible with NH/NST threads.

Right part for the job.

Hard to find 1-1/2" suction hose in stock. One of the local stores showed one in stock but it was the sump pump plastic hose.
