Q: To be clear, vet said milo needs 400 calories a day in order ro lose weight. On the weight management can it reads 936kcal ME/kg; 350 kcal/can.. Does this mean that the entire can only has 350 calories and theoretically I can feed him a can a day?

- A: The amount of food the animal will require depends on the size/weight of the dog as well as the energy/calories provided by the diet. In this situation, one can equates to approximately 350 calories. So if the dog needs 400 kcals, then the owner should feed one can + a little more to ensure the animal gets the right amount of nutrients (and is not malnourished).
