On our vet's advice, we switched out 16-year-old dog to a single-source protein food a couple years ago. Although we love our choice (Blue Buffalo), and so did he, it was really getting expensive. A Tractor Supply employee suggested 4Health, and after doing my own research, we decided to give it a try. Switching our boy over has been painless. In fact, he seems to really like the 4Health food. He's only been on the new food a week, but so far, neither I nor my dog have complaints. It's going to be much easier on our budget, as well.

Very disappointed to learn that 4health has possible ingredients from CHINA. Now on the hunt for a new dog food only made in the USA.

Great food but need 18lb. bag

I have had my pit/boxer mix on 4health adult lamb and rice for about 3 years. She has done very well no skin issues, and shiny coat, great stools. She is now 7 and we are switching to the 4 health mature & vitality brand. I wish they made this in an 18lb. bag but only in 5 and 30lb. I don't understand why this is not available in an 18lb. size like all the other 4health mixes. I worry about the freshness of a large bag (even in a sealed container), after opening for 2 months. that is the timeframe it would take to be used up by my dog. buying 5lb. bags is not cost effective! I hate to, but I may need to change to another brand.

All 3 doggies didn't approve this food. Has good ingredients. Kibble too big for my teacup PomPom. All 3 doggies are seniors. Was hoping they would like it, but sadly they don't.
