Q: Has anybody have issues with the food getting moldy after a couple of days? We keep the food in a storage container
8 days ago- A: Mold growth is usually related to trapped moisture rather than the feed itself. We don’t recommend metal containers because they don’t breathe and can hold moisture against the feed. Instead, store the feed in a plastic container kept in a cool, dry place and off the ground. Under good conditions, the feed should keep roughly 6 months in cooler weather and 3–4 months in hot summer months. If you’re already using plastic and still seeing mold after just a few days, please discard the affected feed and contact us with details about your storage setup so we can help troubleshoot.7 days agoHelpful?
