Zymox Otic with 1.0% Hydrocortisone Solution is an ear care solution for dogs, cats, and horses that works to disinfect and clean the ears, all while destroying harmful microbes and reducing inflammation. Featuring an LP3 enzyme system, this ear wash product treats cases of both chronic and acute otitis externa caused by yeast, viral or bacterial infection. This is an antibiotic-free formula.How it Works
Zymox Otic's mechanism of action works by killing off microbes whose presence result in infection. It sterilizes the affected area while also utilizing hydrocortisone to alleviate inflammation and itching.
Special Precautions
Be aware of the following precautions:
- No cleaning ears before/during administration.
- No using alongside other ear treatments/washes.
- Do not let water into the ear while treatment is underway.
- Avoid use if ear drum is damaged/punctured.
- Not safe for dogs that are pregnant/lactating.
- Do not leave near children.
- Contact veterinarian if severity of condition increases.

Ear infections can be caused by uncontrolled hair, decreased or inhibited immunity, and creased skin in the ear.

Glycerin, Deionized Water, Hydroxy Propyl Cellulose, Benzyl Alcohol, Potassium Iodide, Hydrocortisone, Dextrose, Propylene Glycol, Glucose Oxidase, Lysozyme, Lactoperoxidase, Lactoferrin.
Not for oral administration. Directions: Apply liberally to dirty ear, filling ear canal. Gently massage and work into infected area. Wipe to remove excess. Treat once a day for 7 days, 14 days for chronic infections. Safe for extended use on persistent cases. Post treatment flush is recommended to remove any residual product and accumulated dead skin cells. Important: Do not clean ears before or during treatment. Do not use in conjunction with other topical ear medications or cleaners. Do not allow water in or near ear during treatment. If condition persists or worsens, consult your veterinarian. Warning: Do not use on punctured ear drums. Do not use on pregnant or lactating females. Keep out of reach of children.
