The WORX PoleSaw is a unique and multifunctional 2-in-1 pole saw and chainsaw. Attach the 8-foot extension pole to reach higher limbs without using a ladder, or detach the pole to easily chop up the fallen limbs. The pole attaches with no tools, making a quick and convenient transition from a chainsaw to a pole saw. This low-maintenance saw has a patented auto-tensioning chain system to help extend the life of the bar and chain. In addition, the automatic oil pump with level indicator makes it even easier to operate and maintain. This 10 in. compact powerhouse has a rotatable handle for efficient pruning. The 2-in-1 nature of this product is appealing. So far, I've used it as a small handheld trim saw more than I've used it affixed to the pole, but it does work on the pole. Someone's literature said the angle of the saw on the pole was adjustable. It is NOT. You get the angle shown in the picture. Assembly was easy. It's nice that the pole comes apart at a screw-joint half way up its length. That makes for easier storage. The instructions were thorough and even included a tutorial on the basics of how to use a chain saw. The saw gets a little unwieldy when the pole is fully extended. Those with strength challenges should sacrifice the 2-for-1 nature of this product and opt for a lighter weight, "unitasker" pole saw and purchase a separate chain saw of a size they can handle if needed.

Yes, I recommend this product.

small and robust machine, was able perform under challenging conditions. A bit heavy when fully extended, so you have to be extra careful. Great benefit of having 2 in 1 - cut branches and immediately trim them for disposal.
