Whirlpool 115V Window-Mounted Air Conditioner with Remote Control, 550 sq. ft., 12,000 BTU

Working well. My favorite part is the washable filter. Had these before in Florida and they get nasty so this one should be an upgrade. Not for the full house. Tried this in a back guest room that got hotter than the rest of the house. Not huge but it’s heavy you will need to be strong or need 2 people to pick up and install. Installing isn’t long just heavy.

Wow! This air conditioner is amazing. It was easy to install and the size is perfect for our room. It’s gets so cold if feels like it’s throwing snowballs out. It’s quieter than other window units we have had in the past. So blessed that Influenster sent us this to review!! We love it.

It’s been a long time since I’ve used a window unit. I needed one for the new she-shed we had recently built. However, I first used this one in my house for when AC is out. It is so easy to install, it took my husband minutes without reading instructions. Easy to uninstall and move also. It is not lightweight but my husband had no trouble lifting it and installing it in the window by himself. This unit is relatively small but packs a punch. You would expect half the BTU it has for its size. Very cool! The sound is not too loud either. It is comfortable to sleep with. Actually I like the white noise it makes. It won’t jolt you out of your sleep when it comes on but helps to drown out the outside noise.. It sounds very smooth like a well oiled machine. It also took no time to cool off a room. Within minutes it was significantly cooler. It is easy to operate, very intuitive and comes with a remote, so you can control it from anywhere not just the unit itself. It is programmable too to fit your needs best. It has a removable washable filter makes it easy to maintain. Amazing! I have a few appliances by whirlpool and all of them held up great over the years. Whirlpool makes a great qualities appliances. This one is no exception. I am so impressed with this window AC unit. If you are looking to buy one, I would seriously consider whirlpool.
