- 1500 WATT INFRARED CARBON HEATING ELEMENT - Our 1500 Watt infrared carbon heater is a type of infrared heating device that uses a hydrocarbon filament instead of a tungsten filament as a heating element. Such a heating element has a high thermal conductivity and, accordingly, has a higher heat transfer.
- 51 INCHES TALL - Whether you are sitting low on an outdoor couch or high up on a barstool, this heater will keep you warm from 10 feet away.
- ALUMINUM AND STAINLESS STEEL CONSTRUCTION - The aluminum and stainless steel construction of the Westinghouse infrared heater is designed to withstand rain, humidity, heat and snow.
- TIP-OVER PROTECTION - If the unit is knocked over by the wind, kids or even the family pet, it will shut off automatically to prevent any chance of fire. Just stand it back up and turn it on again. The wide & heavy base makes it difficult to knock over, but accidents happen and this feature will keep you safe even if you are not present.
- WATER AND DUST RESISTANT - The IP44 rating allows you to leave this unit outside all season long and not worry about dust and water filtering in. If you accidentally spray it while watering flowers or cleaning there will be no harm done to the heater.

Stopped working after a couple of uses.

We bought this for Covid and it stopped working after a couple of months. The device turns on. Mode can show red, yellow, and green. But it doesn’t heat.

Don’t buy this heater
a year ago
I bought this heater during Covid so I could visit with my neighbor outside in the winter. I used it about 10 times. It doesn’t put out much heat unless you are right up next to it. When I brought it out recently to use, it has developed a problem where it comes on, operates for about 10 minutes, then shuts off. It will not turn on again for days. Very disappointing for the price, It should last for years & years. To the landfill…
