- A: The weight of the 20' x 20' brown tarp is 7.5 lbs. The Dize Company does not measure our poly tarps by Mil thickness as this is a woven product. Our tarps are classified in weave. The weave count of our brown tarps are 8 x 8 which means that there are 8 strands of material woven with 8 strands of material per square inch.6 years agoHelpful?

TERRIBLE tarps!

Total junk! We would have been better off with trash bags. They could not even hold water. One rain caused it to rip the grommets apart. I should have listened to my husband and returned these immediately. These are the worse tarps we have ever used, and we have used plenty for our business.
