Vitamin B Complex Injection is used to address vitamin B deficiencies in animals such as cows, sheep, and horses. Administered via injection, it helps increase blood production and improves liver and digestive function. This supplement is particularly beneficial for animals recovering from surgery, debilitating illnesses, or liver conditions. B vitamins are essential for the overall health and proper functioning of animals. It can also be helpful for animals who are not eating appropriately and whose diets may be lacking in vitamin B.How it Works
Because B-complex vitamins are water-soluble, and the body does not store reserves, daily B-complex supplementation is needed. Pasture of good quality contains these vitamins in high levels. However, cereal grains in hard, concentrated feeds have an imbalanced or low natural vitamin content. This B-complex, particularly B-12 and B-1 (thiamin), is responsible for metabolizing the nutrients in the horse, including carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. B-5 (pantothenic acid) and B-2 (riboflavin) also help metabolize nutrients. B-2 is needed for healthy digestive tract mucous membranes. B-5 supports many of the hormones and glands that help in nutrient metabolism.
Special Precautions
- Not safe for use in humans.
- When dose exceeds 0.33mL (50mg of thiamine), take care to administer cautiously and slowly.
- Administering parenterally has led to anaphylactic shock.
- Keep away from children.
- Only for use in animals.
Immediately contact your closest emergency animal hospital or vet.
