Special Precautions

• When treating inflammatory conditions caused by an infection, concurrent treatment should be initiated with specific anti-infectives.
• Closely monitor or avoid administering to animals taking other anti-inflammatory medications, including corticosteroids or NSAIDs.
• Keep away from children.
• Not for use in animals intended for food slaughter.
• Only for use in animals.

• If any signs of blood dyscrasia, jaundice, or gastrointestinal upset are noted, withdraw use immediately.
• Albeit rare, certain dogs have experienced fatal reactions following long-term treatment. Regular, weekly blood counts in early treatment phases and bi-weekly counts thereafter can help safeguard against this risk.
• If you notice tarry or black stools, a relative granulocyte decrease, or a decrease in the total white count should lead to urgent withdrawal of treatment and initiation of countermeasures.
