I want to run the oil recommended by Cummins for my 5.9 diesel. I have tried other oils... premium blue runs best in my motor. Also, extreme confidence in the selection as Valvoline has been around longer than I have been alive!

I just switched from Rotella T5 to the Valvoline Premium Blue. My goal is to have Valvoline in everything. One thing I noticed right off is the truck doesn’t put off that weird Rotella oil smell anymore. If you’ve ran Rotella you know what I’m talking about. You can smell the oil for the first 5k miles or so. This oil puts off no smell out of the crankcase breather. Oh and the jug has the Cummins approval on it so that’s just a bonus and looks good setting on the shelf with my Fleetguard filters.
