I'm looking for something to line my smoker and firebox. It's a small store bought model. Anyways I know it depends on much smoking I do which is rarely ever over 250 degrees but how often do they need changing?

In the description of these bricks it says heat tolerance 2000 Degrees, but in the specifications it is described as only 900. Massive difference, which is it?
