    My last dog would have been perfectly happy in this. It's much nicer to look at than a standard crate. Make it even better by: 1) The Long side latches and lock bars attach with short, little screws. I imagine that a dog that is larger and wants out can put enough force on the long side gate to get out eventually. I added glue to try and help secure screws, but ultimately will probably replace them with thru bolts and lock nuts if I can find some same diameter. Perfectly fine for dogs already crate trained that are not interested in getting out. 2) bottom wood piece should be thicker or solid wood. I worry that over time it will start sagging if it were to ever get wet inside and be scratched through finish. 3) top wood piece should be thicker if you want to use as table for anything heavy, unless putting along edge where walls are. Thinking about putting additional top on it to protect it from damage. .
