UltraCruz Equine Selenium Supplement for Horses is an equine dietary supplement that provides organic Selenium, an important antioxidant and trace mineral for horses that helps provide the body with nerve, muscle and joint support. In addition to helping to reduce oxidative stress, Selenium supports breeding performance and normal metabolic function. Performance horses participating in rigorous activity can benefit from additional antioxidant supplementation. This palatable powder formula may be especially beneficial for horses living in Selenium deficient regions. Developed and manufactured in the USA with globally-sourced ingredients by Santa Cruz Animal Health

- A: Hi, thank you for the question! This supplement is pure Selenium because in many cases a horse may already be getting enough Vitamin E in their regular diet. After searching the market for a selenium supplement that was NOT filled with things that our horses don't need, such as molasses or added iron, I came across UltraCruz Equine Selenium Powder. I gave it a try and have found it to be palatable to our horses, and a great way to get straight-up selenium to their systems. Our horses have been on this selenium powder for several months now, and they have seem to be doing well with it. Maybe it's just me, but they also seem a little perkier since getting the selenium that they need. I have recommended this particular selenium supplement to others who are curious/engaged in their horse's nutrition.

Selenium Pellets

We have been using this successfully for our goat herd for years. We live in an area with selenium poor soils and without additional selenium we noticed more difficulty with kidding/slower labor.
