Q: What is the shelf life of the chromium yeast? Both pellets and powder, if they are different. I'd like to order larger quantities, but as I'm only feeding one horse, I want to make sure I'll be able to use it while it's still good.

Q: Is this manufactured by an FDA or USDA inspected facility, is it tested for actual chromium levels after manufacturing to ensure it meets product specifications for chromium levels? Is the yeast grown with a chromium source or the two blended together?

- A: Hello, The product is manufactured in a cGMP FDA audited facility. They also have a range of organic certificates that undergo inspections. The facility test for the chromium levels of the product, and we verify the facility by testing 3 initial lots and then one lot/year after the initial testing is completed. Q: Is this just a chromium salt added to yeast or is it naturally bound to yeast compounds through its fermentation process? Please don't repeat the same thing, that this is chromium yeast that doesn't really say if its biologically bound to yeast compounds.
