The UGL 0.5 pt. Wood Stain wipes on as easily as furniture polish to stain and seal in one quick, easy application. Formulated with controlled penetration, this product helps ensure a uniform color tone without unsightly streaks or lap marks. It can be used on surfaces that have been previously painted or varnished, without stripping, to achieve a gorgeous wood grain effect. ZAR stain can be used as a glaze, for cerusing or can be mixed (50/50) for custom blended colors. Good (expletive deleted) stuff

Happened upon this stuff as I was wanderin around the store. Price was good so I figured what the hell lets try er. Turns out its really good stuff. It looks nice stained and sands down smooth. Ive used it on diamond willow and you can hardly tell as long as the color is close, and I filled a huge, deep crack on a piece of lilac and while thats always gonna be noticeable I was surprised by how good it looked. You could almost pass it off as an inlay. K, review done.

Great for applying on wooden models.

This is the first time I have used this product. It is very thick so I have found that by adding a little water to the surface that I am trying to cover, allows me to have a much nicer looking final surface with some light sanding. It takes several layers to get to the point of having a smooth surface that looks good when painted.

Yes, I recommend this product.
