Don't buy! Run away!

Don't buy this mower. With the 2-point height adjustment, it cuts at a slant from left to right. I opened a claim with Troy-Bilt, took it to an authorized service dealer; and it was confirmed that it not only cuts at a slant from left (side of the 2-point height adjustment) to right, but also from front to back. The warranty process had Troy-Bilt's manufacturer/distributor, MTD, send the mower shop a new deck to install. After install, the mower shop contact me and stated the deck level is still out-of-specifications. Troy-Bilt/MTD is not even attempting to try again to fix it. They are refunding my purchase price, and having the mower shop "destroy" the mower, literally. I had a similar situation with a Dewalt mower earlier this season that I purchased and returned after the first mowing as it "butchered" my lawn cutting at a slant. I told that mower shop the Dewalt mower story; and they stated Dewalt and Troy-Bilt are made at the same plant as they are both owned by Stanley Black and Decker, along with other big brand names, like Cub Cadet.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Hi Keith B. We're sorry for the issue with your equipment. This came with a 2-year manufacturing warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. We do stand behind our products and our warranties. If our Authorized Service Center deems the repair unfeasible, the next option would be to replace or refund. An internal case has been started for this concern. If you would like to discuss further, you can contact us directly at 1 (800) 828-5500. Mention your case 10517585 so we can help. Thank you for rating our product.

Great mower so far

This has been a great mower so far. Been a week or so. One pull start every time. This comes with a s-shape blade adapter and a 3 in 1 mulching blade. It works well, but wanted to change to a bow tie style blade adapter so I could buy different blades, like Gator G5 and an oem high lift blade. So bought (from TSC) part #748-04096 adapter and now I’ve got 3 different blades and 2 different adapters. The Oregon blade is amazing! This mower has enough power and look forward to tackling leaf pickup in another month. No negatives at this point.
