The Troy-Bilt TB227 XP Straight Shaft String Trimmer features a 27cc, 2-cycle lightweight engine for ease of use. It comes with a 17 in. cutting swath to cut wider areas of grass in less time and SpringAssist technology for easier pull starts. The dual-line bump head with .095 in. line allows for precise cutting, while the straight shaft trimmer reaches more easily under shrubs, around fence posts and other obstacles. Its TrimmerPlus attachment capability allows for more versatility and less storage space. The multi-position adjustable handle reduces vibration and operator fatigue. This straight shaft string trimmer includes 2-cycle engine oil and a 2-year limited warranty.

Fired right up on first pull out of the box. Like the weight and solidness of the unit, power of the motor. A little concerned about the parts I can tell will break and wear down due to being plastic, but happy that my old attachments for from my Toro unit will work.

Never buy another Troybuilt product.

Piece of crap. Second year I had it it wouldn't.run. took it to a professional and he charged me $70.00. took it home and it ran fo 10 minutes and quit. No spark. New spark plug but still won't start. Save your money.
