Zero Suction - Not Really a Mulching Mower

Bought almost two years ago. Runs well and starts up every time. Engine has been easy to maintain.
The downside is this mower has ZERO SUCTION. To say that is a mulching mower is huge reach. It definitely doesn't mulch. Instead of sucking up lawn clipping and leaves under the deck and mulching the, it just blows leaves around the lawn. If the grass is a bit too long, it's as if it blows blades down flat so the blade can't reach them. Patchy areas of the lawn aren't cut well either. Again, it's as if grass blades in these areas are just blown around to the point the blade can't reach them. Even with the bag attachment, leaves and and other debris are just blown around instead of sucked up into the deck.
If the lawn is already well-manicured, free of leaves, and thick, this mower doesn't pretty well. If conditions are anything but this, the mower greatly underperforms.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Push this mower off your list! What a piece of junk. Less than a year old with only a handful of mows under its belt. Will not start. There are countless YouTube videos showing all the issues on this junker.

MTD will not honor warranty

Did not honor warranty. Was told to take it to Authorized local shop, where I wass informed MTD will not honor warranty & blame customer for failure. After a half dozen 30 minute cuts (oil was at level) mower began spitting oil out of air box. In short too expensive to repair, $300 down the drain
No, I do not recommend this product.

Not what it seems...

Not a product review here because due to 'product unavailabilty' I wasn't able to buy one, but be careful. The company has advertised this mower at low market prices for months but then won't allow purchases to be made via their 'cart' by saying it is 'unavailable'... arguably a bait-and-switch approach for selling more expensive products but in any case a cautionary consideration for buyers. Under such circumstances caveat emptor applies. I.e., interested buyers beware.
