Terrible product used x4 times

Bought brand new in Westminster Md 9/25, had used it 4 times now it’s 4/26 give or take it’s 7 months old and the hearing in it konked out and won’t reverse the cable back in. So TSC in Westminster (terrible) says you have to go thru manf. So if you read there warranty disclaimer sounds like pound sand in Latin. Save your money go to harbor freight at least they’ll warranty it

No, I do not recommend this product.

Pure Junk

I bought the 7500 lb Traveler winch took it out of the box hooked it up to the battery on my gooseneck trailer. Spooled it out hooked up to the first piece of metal a stairwell that might have weighed 600-700 lbs. went to winch it up onto the trailer and the unit started to smoke. I quickly disconnected it from the battery, checked connections as well as the battery voltage. Everything was perfect. Hooked it back up and it probably payed in another 5-6’ before it overheated again and just wouldn’t winch in anymore at all. After about two or three more attempts with cooling sessions in between the pay in was getting less and less. Ended up taking it back to TSC and try to exchange it. They didn’t have that exact size so I opted to exchange it for a 9500 lb winch and pay the difference on one that was on clearance. It wasn’t till I got to the register that the cashier had pointed out that it had a note on it stating it was reduced due to overheating. Just like the one I just returned. Why even put it back on the shelf when an item is returned especially for a reoccurring problem. I recommend staying away from any traveler winches their junk. Got my cash return instead and purchased one from harbor freight that was a 10,000 lb winch and $100.00 less than the junk they sell at TSC and loaded out two 400 bbl oilfield battery tanks and numerous other abandoned oilfield equipment on my ranch with no problems.

It no in

Used it for about a month, mounted to my trailer. Pulling my 2000 Lb race car onto the trailer. Started making a grinding sound. Then it would not winch in.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Strong winch

Seems better built than harbor freight junk. Love the built in light, synthetic rope means no more pricks from steel cable, and has dragged a 1/2 truck onto trailer with locked up wheels in the rear no problem.

Yes, I recommend this product.
