The remote is now programmed. *There is another method with less steps as follows: When the remote control transmitter is replaced, the same type of transmitter is required for pairing. Needs a clip connector instead of a ring lug.

Works great! It is a huge time saver and makes operating the winch much more efficient as I longer have to walk from the work area to the wired controller. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that the receiver unit requires a nut to be removed and reinstalled on negative electrical connection on the winch motor to install the ring lug connector on the remote receiver. I don't feel the plastic housing is durable enough to remain with the winch, either on my vehicle or on my trailer for a long period of time. Also, there is no convenient way to securely mount the receiver to the winch without placing it in harms way in the event of the rope/wire snapping back and without modifying the housing of the winch.

The transmitter is well built and has good range. The receiver is limited because it comes with a custom connector that doesn't seem to match anything.
