Good solution to get your switch mounted

This solved my issue of needing a dash-mounted rocker switch when the switch included with my Champion winch could only be handlebar-mounted. Kit includes the necessary relay and switch. I did not use the power cables that came with the kit as I was inserting this into an existing installation.
Couple of notes that may be helpful based on reviews (lots of what's-the-red-wire-for's):
The system is designed so that the rocker switch gets low-amp power from the ignition wiring (you may have an accessory harness on your machine to plug this into). That's the little red wire. The switch isn't rated for the full amperage required by the winch. That's the relay's job.
Pressing the switch activates the relay, which allows direct battery power to the winch.
I did find that what the switch thought was in/out was backwards on my setup. Not that it especially mattered, but I swapped the +/- leads from the winch to the relay just to make it right.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great winch Controller

I got the Traveller Winch Control Set for ATV. Ours had stopped working and we use it alot in winter for snow plow on ATV. Was easy to mount where old one was and wiring was easy to hook up to get it working. It works great with my winch and ATV. We needed it right away and son found it.
