The TravellerX 6,000 lb. Capacity Synthetic Rope Truck Winch is great for UTVs and ATVs. Made with synthetic materials and an aluminum cover to ensure durability, this truck winch has a 6,000 lb. load capacity for strength. The rope truck winch is powered by a 12V motor with a 1.6 HP output and 206:1 gear ratio, providing an enhanced user experience. A wireless remote and rocker switch come included.

- A: The vendor confirmed there will be no power consumption when the winch motor is not running or working even the power is connected. It will consume power as soon as the winch motor starts to work. And there is no special design on the winch to prevent power consumption. Vendor suggested the user to install an extra switch between the winch and battery if the user is concerned of power consumption when the winch is not in use. Switch it off, the power will be cut off between the winch and battery. It can also prevent mishandling when not use the winch.. User needs to buy switch separately(not available in Tractor Supply). For this 6000lbs winch, the ampere can reach up to 240A for the line pull of 6000lbs.a year agoHelpful?

Perfect and simple with plenty of power.

It’s works as advertised. Simple hookup with no bulky equipment. Mines runs on a 2014 Honda Rancher 420 and it fit great. I reinforced the base plate, did some reinforcements to front frame for piece of mind and run a larger battery. This used with a snatch block and a few trailer house metal screw in tie down supports and I
dare you to get stuck.

Winch lasted 2 months

I had the winch for 2 months, installed it on a brand new side by side. My battery melted, so I brought it to the dealer who advised me that the forward and reverse shorted out inside the winch and since it was connected directly to the battery, it caused the damage. Luckely polaris is warrantying the battery, but tractor supply said I am on my own with the winch after only 2 months. Also, it was super slow, took forever to retract.

a month ago
Installed in enclosed trailer for race car. Seemed good, remote worked well, plenty of power. Then after using it no more a dozen times winch started working intermittently. Didn’t matter if wireless or wired remote before dying completely. Customer service is sending a motor which I have to figure out how to install. So warranty and winch are junk.
