I bought these to keep in the trunk of the car. I took them out of the box and examined them. They are heavy guage, flexible, and the ends are attached good. I'd say they are as good as any I've seen in their price range. I haven't used them yet but I have piece of mind that they will do the job when called upon. I didn't want to break the bank for something we will only use once in a blue moon.
